Reverse Osmosis Plant for Jeddah Sea Port “Phase-A”

Retrofit of complete automation system setup including Siemens SCADA solution.

KINDASA phase-A plant is responsible to deliver sweet water to Jeddah industrial area in addition to secure Jeddah Sea port needs of sweet water.

it was designed previously based on old Siemens PLC series system. All site equipment were operated individually from separate PLC units. That was missing proper monitoring, reporting and control.

CESCO had honoured to upgrade that critical site to be operated from ONE central CPU. All plant units are now driven from RTU units through Profibus network. The central control room is total changed and supported with new SCARA system made by Siemens from the latest state art of technology. The supplied new system has completely new features with all related and required proper reporting system and operating techniques.

The plant is a new extension facility for the reverse osmosis plant for Jeddah Sea port. Our scope is to deliver complete electrical panels packed with all related automation, control and monitoring solution for the plant filtration system including Sixteen sand filter. The scope was extended also to monitor and control the plant submersible pumps, row water and sweet water tanks. The SCADA system is designed to provide all required interfacing with GE R.O units and generate all required operating, monitoring and reporting facilities. The job was done on Turn Key bases.

These panels are responsible of controlling submersible pumps, filling tanks, filtration system and site feeding pumps.
